What I’m Reading, 7.29.17

  • “A Horse Walks into a Bar,” by David Grossman.  Short, humorous novel about a angst-ridden Israeli comedian delivering a monologue at a night club located between Tel Aviv and Haifa.  Just started, intriguing to see where it goes.
  • “The 60s: The Story of a Decade” — anthology of New Yorker pieces from that time.  Fascinating to see how this well-crafted but aloof publication engaged with that lively time and place.
